Art Tonic is a recollection of four years of collaborations and processes. Enjoy an evening of live performance by guest artists with the gallery of our past projects and silent auction- all in support of BODYSONNET’s 2023 season.

Sommellier

Départ is a new wine retail concept that specializes in emphasizes the human connections to the land, and small, multiply marginalized and under-represented winemakers, family-owned producers, vignerons, and responsible methods are the focus at the shop, along with sommelier-quality advice from our warm, diverse staff. Départ Wine is located in Great Barrington, MA, and will soon have a location in NYC.

Edible Installation Artist

Sekai Abeni, a native of Portland, Oregon, is a recent graduate of The Juilliard School with her B.F.A in Acting. Sekai can be seen in the Amazon/Plan B series Paper Girls. She most recently was seen in A Song of Songs at the Bushwick Starr directed by Machel Ross. She was in the Sundance Theater Lab and Williamstown Theater Festival workshops of Aziza Barnes’ Nana. She appeared in Garage Magazine’s A Cake Walk, directed by Miranda Haymon. Her short film and installation Winter Citrus premiered at ArsNova this spring. Her performance art work Blues Blood Black Future, in collaboration with jazz musician Immanuel Wilkins, premiered last year at The Roulette Center. Sekai apprenticed at New York Stage: Film/Powerhouse Theater, and was a Young Arts silver medalist.

DJ

Mariposa is a DJ based in Brooklyn, blending the classic sound of late 90’s house, techno, and downtempo with contemporary dance music beats and grooves. Her style is rooted in a deep appreciation for the history and evolution of electronic music, drawing inspiration from classic genres and artists.
